With a career that began in event planning and multimedia production, he has been at the forefront of innovation since the early days of the internet in Japan. Today, he leads the company with a focus on combining human-centred design and business strategy to create impactful, future-ready solutions.

Ryuji Kimura
Ryuji joined Neuromagic in 2005 and has been instrumental in building the company’s client services from the ground up. With a background in commerce and a strategic mind for sales, marketing, and operations, he has led cross-industry projects and driven organisational growth. As COO, he also played a key role in launching our Service Design Group and expanding Neuromagic’s presence to Europe through the Amsterdam office.

Shuichi Ishikawa
Shuichi joined Neuromagic in 2000 as a system engineer and quickly grew into leadership roles across both technology and operations. With a master’s degree in International Telecommunications from Waseda University, he brings deep expertise in backend development, interaction design, and corporate management. Today, as CIO and Head of the Corporate Group, he bridges technical innovation with operational excellence, overseeing both IT strategy and internal operations.

Bettina Meléndez
Bettina leads Neuromagic’s sustainability vision as CSO and heads our European operations as CEO of Neuromagic Amsterdam, a role she was appointed to in 2024. With over 15 years of management experience and a career spanning social impact, innovation, and business strategy across Europe, she brings a systems-thinking approach to sustainable transformation. Since joining Neuromagic in 2021, she has built and scaled the Sustainability Solutions Group, helping companies navigate complex change. Bettina combines strategic clarity with a strong belief in transparency, curiosity, and meaningful stakeholder engagement.

Natsuki Nagai
Natsuki is a service designer and DEI advocate with a background in global studies and social equity. Since joining Neuromagic in 2018, she has led user research, experience design, and brand development for a wide range of projects. As team lead, she has helped shape both talent development and new business initiatives. Drawing from her academic research on minority communities in the U.S., Natsuki has championed diversity, equity, and inclusion within the company, taking on an executive role in DEI from 2022. She was appointed to the board in May 2024.

Christopher Rowan
Christopher brings nearly two decades of global business leadership and investment experience to Neuromagic. After early executive roles at Sony Music Entertainment and a key leadership position at Internet Research Institute - where he oversaw a successful $110M IPO - he went on to found AvTech Ventures. There, he has led investments in over 40 entertainment and tech companies, frequently stepping in as CEO, COO, or board chair to guide high-growth startups. Christopher currently serves on several boards and continues to drive strategic value creation across industries.

Zenichiro Yasuda
Zenichiro is a co-founder of Neuromagic and currently serves as Audit Supervisor. With a background in systems engineering at IBM Japan and consulting experience across insurance and energy sectors, he brings a strong technical and analytical lens to governance. Since leaving Neuromagic in 2004, he has continued to advise businesses on digital content strategy and IT utilisation. His blend of hands-on technology expertise and long-term perspective supports Neuromagic’s commitment to transparency and responsible growth.

Atsushi Tominaga
Atsushi is a certified public accountant and tax advisor with extensive experience in financial auditing, IPO preparation, and capital markets. After graduating from Keio University, he held key roles at NTT Facilities, KPMG AZSA, and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities, where he specialised in audit and IPO review. Now independent, Atsushi supports startups with fundraising and listing preparation, and serves as an external officer and investment committee member for several companies.
